Use and Care

Before filling, confirm the cork band is dry and seated below the rim, the lid gasket is even, and the pivot cover moves without lifting from its center pin. The closed cover reduces an open drinking path but does not make the lid leak-proof. Remove the cork band before washing; wipe it lightly with a dry or barely damp cloth and air dry fully. Never soak the cork band. Wash and dry every component before first use. Inspect the stainless body, rim, vacuum base, lid, drinking opening, hinge or slider, loop or grip band, and every seal before each use. Do not use a vessel with dents affecting stability, a damaged rim, loose component, cracked lid, torn gasket, open vacuum base, or trapped liquid between walls. Hot contents can burn: fill on a stable surface, leave headspace, secure the complete lid, keep openings away from the face, and test temperature carefully. Transport upright; no spill-proof or leak-proof claim is made. Do not use with carbonated, fermenting, or pressure-building contents.
